01Day 1 — Arrival in Agra – Taj Mahal & Mehtab Bagh Sunset View
Arrive in Agra via train or road (Delhi to Agra pickup available). Check-in at your hotel and relax for a while. After lunch, visit the Taj Mahal, the world’s most iconic symbol of love and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore the intricate marble work and Mughal architecture with a guided tour. In the evening, visit Mehtab Bagh to enjoy a peaceful sunset view of the Taj across the Yamuna River. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
02Day 2 — Agra Fort, Baby Taj & Local Markets
After breakfast, visit the grand Agra Fort, another UNESCO World Heritage Site and former residence of the Mughal emperors. Next, head to the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb, also known as the Baby Taj, a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Optional: Visit Akbar’s Tomb in Sikandra for additional historical exploration. Enjoy shopping in Agra local markets for marble handicrafts, leather goods, and sweets like petha. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
03Day 3 — Fatehpur Sikri Excursion – Departure
After breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed for a half-day excursion to Fatehpur Sikri (approx. 1 hour drive). Visit Buland Darwaza, Jama Masjid, and Tomb of Salim Chishti in this beautiful, red sandstone Mughal city. Return to Agra by noon. Depart for your onward journey via train or drive back to Delhi/Jaipur.
