Yatra Experience: Pilgrims can choose to trek from Baltal or take a helicopter ride to Panchtarni, followed by a short trek to the cave. The route offers stunning views of glaciers, rivers, and alpine meadows. The Yatra is open for a limited period each year, usually in July-August. Book early for 2025 to ensure your place.

Your day-wise itinerary
01Day 1 · Arrival in Srinagar – Sonmarg
Arrive at Srinagar airport/railway station. Meet our representative and transfer to Sonmarg (approx. 80 km). Check in to your hotel/camp. Rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize and enjoy the scenic beauty of Sonmarg. Dinner and overnight stay in Sonmarg.
02Day 2 · Sonmarg – Baltal – Amarnath Cave – Sonmarg
Early morning, drive to Baltal (15 km). From Baltal, proceed to the Amarnath Cave by trek (14 km one way) or by helicopter (if opted, subject to weather and availability). Perform darshan of the holy ice lingam and participate in rituals. Return to Baltal and drive back to Sonmarg for dinner and overnight stay.
03Day 3 · Sonmarg – Srinagar Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar. Optional sightseeing in Srinagar (Dal Lake, Mughal Gardens) if time permits. Drop at Srinagar airport/railway station for your onward journey, marking the end of your Amarnath Yatra 2025 pilgrimage.
