The Baidyanath Jyotirlinga is also associated with the Shakti Peethas, where Sati’s heart is said to have fallen, adding to its spiritual significance.
The yatra, or pilgrimage, attracts millions of devotees, particularly during the holy month of Shravan (July-August), when the famous Shravan Mela takes place.
