01Day 1 · Ahmedabad – Jamnagar – Dwarka
Welcome on your 'Dwarka Somnath Gujarat Pilgrimage Tour'. Arrive at Ahmedabad; Your spiritual journey begins with morning pickup from Ahmedabad Airport / Railway station (6:00 AM). We'll drive to Jamnagar (300 km) for lunch and visit Lakhota Lake and Bala Hanuman Temple (known for its continuous chanting of 'Sri Ram, Jai Ram, Jai Jai Ram' since 1956). After lunch, continue to Dwarka (150 km), one of the four major pilgrimage sites (Char Dham) in India. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit the magnificent Dwarkadheesh Temple (Dwarka Krishna Temple), believed to be 2,500 years old, for darshan and to witness the mesmerizing Sandhya Aarti ceremony. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Dwarka.
02Day 2 · Dwarka Local Sightseeing - Somnath
After breakfast, we'll first visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Next, we'll proceed to Bet Dwarka (Beyt Dwarka), an island believed to be Lord Krishna's residence during his rule of Dwarka. We'll take a short ferry ride to reach the island and visit the ancient temple. After returning from Bet Dwarka, we'll visit Rukmani Devi Temple, dedicated to Krishna's wife Rukmani, located 2 km from Dwarka. We'll also visit Gopi Talav, a pond where the Gopis (female devotees) of Vrindavan are said to have merged with Lord Krishna. In the afternoon, we'll drive to Somnath (230 km). En route, we'll stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, for a brief visit to Kirti Mandir (Gandhi's ancestral home). Upon arrival in Somnath, check into your hotel and freshen up. In the evening, visit the magnificent Somnath Temple, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus and the first among the twelve Jyotirlingas. Witness the spectacular evening aarti and the Sound & Light show that narrates the temple's glorious history. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Somnath.
03Day 3 · Somnath – Ahmedabad
Start your day with an early morning visit to Somnath Temple for darshan. After breakfast, we'll visit Bhalka Tirth, the sacred place where Lord Krishna was hit by an arrow and began his journey to his heavenly abode. We'll also visit Triveni Sangam, the auspicious confluence where three rivers (Hiran, Kapila, and Saraswati) meet the Arabian Sea. You can take a holy dip here if you wish. After lunch, we'll begin our journey back to Ahmedabad (420 km). En route, we'll make a comfort stop at a local restaurant. Upon arrival in Ahmedabad (approximately by 8:00 PM), you'll be dropped off at your desired location in the city, marking the end of our divine Dwarka Somnath Tour Package.
