Your day-wise itinerary
01Day 1 — Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Leh and check in to your hotel. Spend the day resting and acclimatizing to the high altitude. In the evening, take a stroll around Leh Market and visit the Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh town. Enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in Leh.
02Day 2 — Leh Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Thiksey Monastery, one of the largest and most beautiful monasteries in Ladakh. Explore Shey Palace, which offers beautiful views of the surrounding area. Head to Hemis Monastery, known for the annual Hemis Festival. Visit Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to move uphill due to an optical illusion. Return to Leh for an overnight stay.
03Day 3 — Leh to Nubra Valley
Depart for Nubra Valley, a beautiful high-altitude desert, via the Khardung La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. Visit the Diskit Monastery and enjoy a camel ride in the Hunder Sand Dunes. Stay overnight in Nubra Valley, either in a hotel or a camp.
04Day 4 — Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake
After breakfast, proceed towards Pangong Lake, one of the most famous and beautiful lakes in India, passing through Shayok River Road. Upon arrival at Pangong Lake, enjoy the stunning views and spend time capturing the beauty of this turquoise-colored lake. Enjoy a beautiful sunset at the lake. Overnight stay in Pangong Lake camps.
05Day 5 — Pangong Lake to Leh
Early morning, capture the mesmerizing sunrise over Pangong Lake. After breakfast, head back to Leh via Chang La Pass. Once in Leh, explore the Leh Palace and enjoy shopping in the Leh Market for local souvenirs. In the evening, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your return journey.
